SOUND: JUNGLE BIRDS CHIRPING, WATER FLOWING, CRUNCHY FOOTSTEPS, FOLIAGE MOVING, AMBIENT MUSIC JONAH: How long do you think we’ve been walking? VINCENT: Probably about 5 or 6 days now. Doesn’t really matter anyway. We aren’t stopping so there’s no point thinking about all that. JONAH: I know, I know. I was just wandering. How are we gonna know when we find the place? VINCENT: Well, it used to be the most prominent religious structure of its time, so I'm hoping we won’t have to look too hard. It should make itself known. JONAH: Okay, but it’s just that we’ve been walking for days, and there’s barely even a footpath. VINCENT: I’ve done this many times. You just have to trust the process. JONAH: Well, maybe the process is stupid. We're in the middle of nowhere, looking for an old dusty rock with a map that’s falling apart in your hands. VINCENT (angrily): You knew what you were signing up for when you joined me. You might be miserable, but we can’t exactly turn back now, and you won't be miserable when you make millions off this old dusty rock. JONAH: I could be in New York right now. VINCENT: Well you aren’t. (THE SOUNDS OF THE JUNGLE AND FOOTSTEPS CONTINUE) JONAH: What is that? VINCENT: What? JONAH: That weird looking rock. VINCENT: Oh right. That does look interesting. Might be worth taking it, could be worth something. Go grab it quickly. (SOUND OF FOOTSTEPS, FOLLOWED BY A CRASH OF STICKS AND LEAVES AND SHOUTING) (THEY BOTH COUGH) JONAH: What the hell just happened? VINCENT: Well I guess that rock was there for a reason. (SOUNDS OF THE TWO GETTING UP) (MYSTERIOUS FLUTE MUSIC STARTS PLAYING) JONAH: How do we get out? VINCENT: We don’t, not quite yet. JONAH: What do you mean? VINCENT: This looks promising. You got a match or a lighter? (SOUND OF FUMBLING, FOLLOWED BY SOUND OF LIGHTER IGNITING) VINCENT: You see those drawings on the wall? They’re telling us to go this way. JONAH: Into the darkness? VINCENT: Yep. (JONAH SIGHS) (GRAVELLY FOOTSTEPS AND SOUND OF FIRE CONTINUES) VINCENT: Help me with this door (SOUNDS OF EFFORT AND STONE GRINDING AGAINST STONE) VINCENT: There it is. There’s the stone. JONAH: Well what are you waiting for? VINCENT: No, no, no! (FOOTSTEPS RUNNING FOLLOWED BY MULTIPLE ARROWS FIRING) VINCENT: What did I tell you? JONAH: What the hell was that? VINCENT: About 100 arrows whizzing past you. Wait for my word next time. You might as well grab the stone now. (SOUND OF ITEM BEING PICKED UP) JONAH: Woah, it’s so heavy. VINCENT: That’s a good thing. Let’s get out of here. (FOOTSTEPS WALKING AWAY, MUSIC CONTINUES)
