ABSTRACT
This study explores the impact of having an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW)
parents to the academic performance of grade 12 students. The main objective of this
study is show the impact of academic performance of grade 12 students without the
physical appearance of the parent. The study is conducted among adolescents from ages
18 to 19 years old whose parents are working abroad. The study utilized quantitative
research. The participants were purposely selected using simple random sampling in
which the participants are selected. The researchers created an survey questionnaire to
