JOB DESCRIPTION OF AC TECHNICIAN

To provide a competent and efficient maintenance check and repairs for Air-con and other Cooling
or Heating system.
Reports to:
Logistics Incharge.

Skills Required:
Graduate or under graduate with technical diploma.
2-3 years of experience in related field.

Duties& Responsibilities:

 To carry out routine air conditioning and cooling repairs and reported to the Maintenance Department.
 Installation of AC units, including electronic and mechanical components
 To provide technical support and advice on plumbing and heating issues to the Logistic Incharge and other staff as
necessary.
 To carry out installation and improvement works to camp properties.
 To assume practical responsibility for all heating related installations, and provide timely
pre-emptive condition reports to the Logistic Incharge.
 To carry out annual checks of gas appliances.
 To assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks, in conjunction with Logistic Incharge.
 To liaise with the accommodation department and Logistic Incharge to establish planned and
routine maintenance programme and reporting procedure.
 To carry out routine servicing of all domestic boilers and to maintain records of all servicing.
 To participate in the provision of out-of-hours emergency cover as necessary.
 To assist other trades as/when required.
 To undertake any other duties as directed by the Logistic Incharge and/or Office Manager within the remit of the role.
 To undertake training as required to perform the duties of the role, including health and safety courses and further
trade development to maintain current knowledge and professional qualifications (Continued Professional
Development).
