Sub: 47th CIL Foundation Day - 2021 – 1st November, 2021

Executive Director(CD)/Coordinator (PSC), CIL vide letter no. CIL/47th CILFD/

202/CSR/206 dated 10.06.2021 requested for submission of nominations from
Areas/Departments of ECL for the categories mentioned in the letter for prizes at CIL level
on the occasion of 47th CIL Foundation Day – 2021. CIL has informed that the award
nominations of Subsidiary Companies duly approved by the Competent Authority are to be
submitted to the Prize Selection Committee (PSC), CIL by 10th July, 2021. The
categories for nomination of Award for the Foundation Day, 2021 is reproduced
below:
INDIVIDUAL / GROUP AWARDS

i) N Kumar Innovation Award (Technical) – Maximum TWO nominations

from each Subsidiary Company with brief narration

ii) Bravery Awards – Best ONE nomination from each Subsidiary Company with
a brief narration.

iii) Outstanding Sportsperson – Best ONE nomination from Subsidiary

Company. (Winners/ Participation in International/ National or Inter PSU Sports
event during 2020-21, along with duly supporting documents/ certificate of
participation/Awards won, along with brief narration)

iv) Award for Female Operator – Best ONE nomination in each category from
Subsidiary Company
a) HEMM Operation
b) Operation of Other Equipment
(Justification for their performance during 2020-21, viz, Yearly attendance,
output in terms of meterage drilled / trips / loading, Accident record, etc. with
brief narration)

v) Award for Special Contribution – Best ONE nomination only from Subsidiary
Company (For remarkable achievement by an individual or a group for any job
other than day-to-day departmental business activities, along with brief
narration)

You are requested to arrange for sending the nominations for the above-mentioned
categories with proper citations in respect of your Area / Department to the undersigned
positively by 05.07.2021 in soft copy (in Word / Excel file) through e-mail
(tstocmd.ecl@coalindia.in), so that the same can be compiled and scrutinized at ECL
level for onward submission after competent approval to Prize Selection Committee,
Coal India Limited for compilation and scrutiny of nominations at Coal India Level.
