Rewards
This document defines the Early Staking Rewards Distribution Programme, a
six-month operation following the World Mobile Token Generation Event (TGE)
and before the mainnet launch. It’s worth noting that 1 WMT can be subdivided up
to 6 decimal places (1 million units: “Marconis”).

Earth Node Operators

You must reserve 100,000 tokens to stake an Earth Node. There will be 1000 Earth Nodes available to
reserve during the Early Staking Rewards Programme. Reserving an Earth Node earns you additional
incentives and makes you one of the first to secure the network.

If a user decides to stake their tokens using their TGE wallet, they will be permitted to stake with no
additional proof.

If a user decides to stake their tokens using a wallet that was not used in the TGE, they will be required to
send a transaction from their new wallet as proof of ownership.

As the Cardano network does not yet support smart contracts, if the tokens have not been moved from
the wallet at the end of the six months, the reward will be issued.

There will be a maximum reward available for early stakers who reserve their Earth Nodes first. You can
see in Figure 2 that rewards decrease until the final 101st-1000th node.

If not all Earth Nodes are reserved by the end of the six months, then the remaining reward tokens will be
split equally: 15% will be sent as an additional reward to the Earth Node reservists and the remaining
85% will be sent to the WM Operations Fund.

Public Sale Pool Staking

The public sale pool is an early staking pool for those who would like to stake their tokens but do not
want to commit to reserving an Earth Node.

Stakers can stake any amount of tokens at any time during the programme. The release of tokens occurs
each time a threshold is achieved, as detailed in Figure 3.

Stakers earn rewards if they hold their tokens for a minimum of 30 days following the token release
threshold. During these 30 days, the participant must hold a minimum balance of their staked amount
taken at the snapshot to qualify for their rewards.

If a user decides to stake their tokens using the wallet in the TGE, then they will be permitted to stake
with no additional proof.

If a user decides to stake their tokens using a wallet that was not used in the TGE, they will be required to
send a transaction from their new wallet to prove they have the funds.

Each time a threshold is reached, a snapshot of the addresses that are staking in the pool is taken. At
the end of the 30 days following the threshold release, the address is checked to ensure the tokens
were held continuously.

Suppose not all thresholds are achieved at the end of the six months. In that case, the remaining reward
tokens will be split: 15% will be sent as an additional reward to the stakers (distribution will depend on
how long stakers have staked their tokens), and the remaining 85% will be sent to the WM operation
fund.

Stakers may leave and rejoin the staking pool. However, if they leave within the 30 days following the
previous threshold token release they will forfeit their rewards.

When 100 million tokens are staked in the public pool, there will be no further early staking rewards
available in this programme.

As tokens are released, they'll be added automatically to the total staked by the participant, and hence
there is a cumulative total for the next threshold.

Tokens earned are unlocked.

Private Sale Pool Staking

There are 10 million tokens allocated to private sale participants. The private sale participants’ tokens will
be locked for nine months following the sale. If they choose to stake, they will be entered into the private
pool Early Staking Rewards Programme.

The private sale staking pool will operate for 6 months and the rewards will be released monthly. These
rewards will be unlocked.
