Stories and invitation

Dear Ana

Long time no see! I really miss you and I want to tell you some stories I lived

when I was traveling in Mexico. I will tell you one right now. When I was in

Cancun, I saw some people in the beach trying to do something. When I got closer,

I noticed they were helping a dolphin that stranded in the beach. I immediately went

to help and we could move the poor animal into deeper waters. Thanks God.

After that trip, I came back to Colombia I looked for volunteering programs because I wanted to

continue with that experience. I was looking for one outside Colombia, but then I realized that I

could help my country too. I was searching the internet when a friend told me about a volunteer

program to help elderly people, it was perfect. I registered and the program started some weeks

later. We went to an asylum and there we helped many people with different activities. We played

some board games, sang songs and also we did a little tour around the city. At the end, I felt

exhausted, but also I felt very grateful. It was incredible.

Now, I want to invite you to La Guajira because I heard about another volunteer program that I want

to help. It starts on July and it lasts 2 weeks. I read some information and I think you can help too.

First of all, we will bring some groceries for them and water, you know how difficult things are

there. Besides that, we are going to help them with different things. We are going to build some

houses and other buildings that they need and we are going to teach some classes of different

topics. It seems a lot of work, but I can guarantee that you will feel great with this experience.

Think about it and remember that if you need something you can tell me and I will help you with

anything I can.
