Developing this show every year and exploring the literature in search of stories to
perform, is always a wonderful journey. The genre that we call ghost stories is a vehicle
for chills, laughter, and revelation. The authors explore our relationships with good and
to evil, with the unexplained, and with the inexplicable and sometimes dark magic that
dances through our lives. We cannot grasp the great beyond, so why not imagine it? We
can’t make fit all our thoughts into a box of logic. So why try?
So welcome, as we step beyond our lives a bit with the help of the talented performers
who have joined me in this show. A big thanks to the cast, to all of those in our lives
who have helped us, and to all of you for coming. And a special thanks to Jennifer
Jasper and the staff at BPAC. Enjoy!--Kelvin Keraga, Producer of Whispering Bones
The Cast:
Jack Boggan is incredibly pleased to once more perform in 'Whispering Bones'. Apart from
working with 'Bones' for several years, he has also performed upon many occasions at Hubbard
Hall, as well as Not So Common Players, Schenectady Light Opera Company, and SUNY
Purchase, where he recently graduated with a double major in History and Theatre &
Performance and a minor in Literature. Some favorites include King Henry IV Part I (Hotspur),
Macbeth (Macbeth), A Box of Monkeys (Chauncey Oglethorpe), and All's Well That Ends
Well (Parolles). Thank you all so much for coming and please enjoy the show.
Delta Carney: I found out when I was a teenager that I had a Native American heritage— I
have several nations in my family.  My family had hidden this because of the bigotry and hate.  I
set about learning anything and everything I could about Native cultures—about many different
nations.  This all led me to having an understanding in many areas of both Native and
White. Now I try to bring these teachings and thought processes forward as much as I can.
Natives are water protectors, I am a water commissioner for Ashfield. I am a member of the
Lions Club because they are a service organization.  They do for others all the time.  Our
Pumpkin event on the 23rd and 31st will make sure that Ashfield kids still have a Halloween
event. I moved here in 2005. Community feelings are very strong here and I feel very much at
home and safe here.
Barbara Chepaitis is author of 12 published novels, including her most recent THE
AQUARIUS PROJECT, about a young woman who can kill people by wishing them dead. She is
also author of 2 books of nonfiction, including SAVING EAGLE MITCH: One Good Deed in a
Wicked World.  She teaches performance and writing at St. Rose College.

Berkshire Voices among others. Favorite roles include Helen (Road to Mecca), Sr. Aloyisius
(Doubt) and The Poet in a solo performance of An Iliad, the first woman to play the role. In
March, she will be Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit at the Majestic.
