Washing machine, dryer, laptops, tablets, communication community labs, robotics, 3D printers, digital
cameraa and radio camera are things that are invented through technology and it helps us solve lots of
problems in our society nowadays.

What is invention?

It is the creation of product introduction of the process for the first time or it is the formulation of new
products and processes.

Invention can build undiscovery while the inventor is the person who synthesizes the problem
statement and make solutions to some different unique problems.

An invention uses technology to solve a specific problem. The technical features of an invention have a
function through which the problem – the purpose of the invention – is solved. The technical character
necessary for patenting requires that the laws of nature are used to achieve the objective. An invention
is also known as "a technical teaching".

There are few engineer who have changed the world through their inventions:

Thomas Edison who invented motion picture camera photograph at light bulb.

Since motion pictures were invented, audiences have loved how they tell stories. Movies enabled
people to travel the world vicariously, and experience tragedy, love and nearly every other emotion.
Movies spread quickly, making them one of the most accessible and beloved forms of entertainment in
the world.

Nikola Tesla who invented radio extreme machine induction motors.

She was a Serbian-American engineer and inventor who is highly regarded in energy history for his
development of alternating current (AC) electrical systems. He also made extraordinary contributions in
the fields of electromagnetism and wireless radio communications. Tesla's AC motor was
groundbreaking. With its three main parts: a rotor, a stator and coils, this clever new system would
convert electrical energy into mechanical energy with the use of the electro magnecitic induction, i.e.
magnetic field was being created with the use of alternating current.

Archimedes who invented screw to block and tackle pulley systems.

This tool had many historical uses. It was used to empty water out of leaking ships and flooded mines.
Fields of crops were watered by using the screw to pull water from lakes and rivers. It was also used to
reclaim flooded land, for instance in Holland where much of the land lies below sea level.

TECHNOPRENEURSHIP

Commercialization - also known as technology transfer. Way to bring the resulting product into the
society, particularly on a various people who needs it. It is usually a "profit-making" but on a bit of
contrary this transfer of technology to end users isn't always for making money. That is why "value"
doesn't always meant to be economic.

Entrepreneurship is the process of launching and running a new business. Practice of concerting god
ideas to something profitable. A process of identifying and starting a business venture, sourcing and
organizing the required resources and taking the risks and rewards associated with the venture.
Technopreneurship it is a blend of ywo words such us "technology" and "entrepreneurship".
Thoroughly, it is a kind of entrepreneurship in yhe field of technology. The process of technopreneurship
is a combination of technological advancements and entrepreneurial skills. In the products and services
transformation, an intergral part of technopreneur is technology.

Technopreneurship trilogy are category into three the (entrepreneur, manager, and technician). Trilogy
is simply means it is a group of 3 equal the is related with each other. Entrepreneur is the owner of the
business and the financial risks, while the manager is the focuses on achieving results through people
and system, and focuses on present and strategizing for the feature. Technician is focuses on doing the
works of making it, telling and delivering it. Examples of technopreneurs: Elon Musk he is the billionaire,
has been regarded as a Tech Greeks, who is CEO of spaceEx, PayPal, and Tesla. Further, Elon Musk is
known as a discrupture and he has discarded the misconception that the only best way to cut the
business cost is our sourcing. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, Bill Gates who is known the founder and owner
of the award-winning firm of all time, Microsoft. But we never forget the late Steve Jobs. The film that
has been made about Steve Jobs named "Pirates of Silicon Valley" that give him a title of
technopreneur. The biographical film about that man showcases the real picture of the tech world that
we have today. It involved in the building up of the global corporate empire, Steve Jobs Apple Computer
Corporation.

Technology may be defined in many ways but to make simple it is the use of scientific knowledge to give
an easier solution to problems within the specific society or specific individual. The goal of technology is
to find solution to practical problems.

There are Top 10 Technopreneurs in the Philippines, Diosdado Banato, the Computer Chips in Mostron
and S3, Nonoy and Ben Colayco the Online Gaming in Level Up, Joey Gurango, the Software
Development in Webworks OS, Danilo Managaya, the Biotechnology in Servac Philippines, Dennis
Mendiola, the Wireless Technology in Chikka Asia, Manny Pangilinan, the Telecommunications in First
Pacific, PLDT, Dr. William Torres, the RP Internet Pioneer in Mozcom and he’s the father of the
Philippine Internet, Peter Valdez, in the Software Development in Vinta Systems, he’s a software
engineer, Orlando Vea, the Mobile Communications/New Media in SMART Founder in

MediaQuest, and last person we have Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayalla ll, the Diversified IT investing, in
iAyala, he’s the chairman of Ayala Corporation. Ayala Corporation is a company that offers businesses,
process service, and infrastructure. The subsidiaries of Ayala Corporation have these banking, water
infrastructure and electronics. Subsidiary company is a company controlled by another company.

The importances of Technopreneurship are Creating Employment Opportunities, Local Resources,

Business diversification and decentralization, Technological advancement, Capital formation, and
Promotion of entrepreneurial activities. The main focuses of Technopreneurship are Hi-tech ventures in
Information and Communication Technology, the internet, life services, electronics, and biotech, Service
firm where the main mission is technology and Designing of hi-tech products such as computer
hardware or devices and the use of technology in the delivery of normal business activities.
The following are the Technopreneur. Everyone loves Bill Gates. We know that Bill Gates is a
technologist, business leader, and philanthropist. He grew up in Seattle, Washington, with an amazing
and supportive family who encouraged his interest in computers at an early age. He dropped out of
college to start Microsoft with his childhood friend Paul Allen. He married Melinda French in 1994 and
they have three children. Today, Bill and Melinda Gates cochair the charitable foundation bearing their
names and are working together to give their wealth back to the society. Second, we have Winston
Damarillo a top Filipino entrepreneur was born in Bohol who has had success with top technology firms.
At 30 years old, he founded his own company and sold it for about $100 million to IBM. He is pushing
the idea that the Philippines Software industry is ready to become a leader in the ASEAN and global
markets. Last person, we have Diosdado Banatao a Filipino entrepreneur and engineer working in the
high-tech industry, credited with having developed the first 10- Mbit Ethernet CMOS with silicon coupler
data-link control and transceiver chip set for IBM’s PC-XT and PC-AT, and the local bus concept and the
first Windows Graphics accelerator chip for personal computers.

There are three needs. First, needs or pain, points are problems which technology wants to give a
solution. Needs or pain points are root problems. Examples, electrical distribution company complained
about low profit due to system loss which includes transmission and distribution loss. Other examples,
this pandemic, locked down and quarantine protocols which required face masks, face shield and social
distancing. To identify pain points, pain points are simply problems plain and simple.

Some pain points generally causes only a fraction of discomforts. For example, supermarkets gives
smiley used to measure pain points of the costumer marked as 0 to 10. 0 for no pain, 1 for very mild, 2
for discomfort, 3 for tolerable, 4 for distressing, 5 for very distressing, 6 for intense, 7 for very intense, 8
for utterly horrible, 9 for excruciating unbearable, and 10 for unimaginable unspeakable. Although you
think of pain points as simple problems, they’re often grouped into several broader categories such as
financial pain points, productivity pain points, process pain points, and support pain points.

Innovators of technology should be able to identify real pain points so they can offer a suitable and
acceptable solutions. A typical error among Engineers and Scientists is to think that the solution is the
pain point. Example, in our daily livings, it is common that we encounter pain points. In this part, real
life examples of were identify to show very specific needs that apparently affect a good number of
people.

Storage devices are important for storing different kinds of files. However, storage devices fill up so
quickly when one is in the field of handling and making large file in succession. One method to free up
memory is to delete unnecessary and duplicate files. For example with online class, students tend to
save pdf’s, online tutorials, documents or even attachments. One of the solution is to have a hard drive
where you can have a copy of such files.

Shopping lists are also needed. Items being listed are frequently overlooked or missed when grocery lists
are being classified mad regardless of how careful the preparation is- ending up picking the wrong items
in the grocery. Sometimes we forgot what to buy, the brand, or buying items you don’t even need.
Making a shopping lists can give you a sense of accomplishment from being able to control your urges of
buying items you don’t need and being able to stick to your plan.

Digital photos nowadays becomes hard to find especially when there are hundredths or even
thousandths stored in a storage device or computers. Example during online classes, while our instructor
is discussing about a particular topic, some of us tend to take a screenshot photos of the topic as our
notes. We wouldn’t even noticed that we already have taken hundreds of screenshot photos in our
gallery just in one week.

Another innovation that is very important in our daily living is public transportation. Especially during
rush hour, public transportation isn’t easy to find even on the expensive side like grab, ending up
arriving home late at night. Public transportation contributes to a healthier environment by improving
air quality and reducing oil consumption, and through better land-use policies. It also helps to expand
business development and work opportunities.

In summary, a technology is an obvious solution to a practical problem of mankind within the society. To
benefit from it, it should be an absolute paramount to bring it to the people who needs it, a process also
called technology transfer or commercialization. Technology should lessen or give an outright solution
to pain points or needs of mankind. Benefits of innovation include the improved productivity and reduce
costs, building a brand, establishing an advantage over the competitors, higher sales and profits.
