Know your Immunization Program in your Brgy.

At the end of this activity, students must be able to:

OBJECTIVES:

1. fully be aware of the different immunization programs offered by the government in Brgy.
level.

2.  know the functions and importance of each immunization program 

3. identify the advantages and disadvantages of the vaccine.

4. differentiate the types of organisms involved in the vaccine given to the patient, and

5. appreciate the offered immunization programs, as these are useful for them (students)as their
life-long learning performance task.

Instructions:

 Create a group of 5 members.


 For safety protocol since you are not allowed to get out as mandated by IATF, prepare
your questions and needed documents/materials for the said inquiry for the
barangay. NOTE: Access the documents needed VIRTUALLY.
 Ask the assistance coming from any reliable person who could help you get the necessary
data.
 Prepare your letter of inquiry address to the Brgy. Captain and have it scheduled.
 Submit your output before the midterm exam with the names of your groupmates.

These are the following questions:

1. Learn to know what type of immunization program in your Brgy.  and the six vaccine-
preventable diseases that were initially included in the EPI.

2. Why they give this immunization program?

3. What organisms do each of these vaccines possess that protect?

4. What is the mode of giving the vaccine? the duration, the month, the dose, and the specific age
of babies and number of months for pregnant women?
5. What are the precautions when to or not to give the vaccine?

6. What happens if a baby or pregnant woman having a fever, flu symptom, diarrhea, and
malnourished,?  Is it okay to give the vaccine?
