Special Rules
1. EC: Make a DR as per B25.5 & B25.63 based on the month of May.
2. Streams are Shallow. All Buildings are Wood. All buildings are Ground Level only. [EXC: 15H, which is a
Level 2 building.] Grain is in Season when board 47 is in play.
3. Croat paratroopers/Partisans must use Crews for SW > 1 PP.
4. Use Partisan OB for each scenario. Partisans are Stealthy. All MMC are Partisans and are considered as Elite
with an underlined morale. Partisans use Russian MMC/SW. One squad (and any SMC/SW stacked with it) may
set up using HIP. For each MMC type indicated in the Partisan OB, make a dr. For 33-3-7 7 and 4-4-7
4 MMC, the dr
= the number of squads received. For the 55-2-7 MMC, the dr divided by 2 (FRU) are received; on a dr = 1 or 6;
reroll. If the Partisans have < 7 squads exchange the 88-1 SMC for a 9-2; for > 11 squads exchange the 8-0 8 for a
7-0.
5. Croat Paratroopers may deploy as per A1.31 & A2.9. Croat Paratroopers have an underlined morale. m Broken
side Morale is identical to their Front side Morale.
6. Croat Walking Wounded (WW) MMC MMC:: Between each scenario, the Croat player may replace a portion of
eliminated Infantry MMC with Walking Wounded MMC. During play, each non-Wounded Wounded Croat MMC removed
due to "Double Break" (A10.3), Casualty MC (A10.31), or Fate (A10.64) should be set aside. Between scenarios,
for every squad equivalent of the same type (FRD) set aside as WW, the Croat player receives one MMC of the
same type as part of his OB for the next scenario
scenario. Each such MMC should be marked with a "Walking Wounded
MMC" counter to reflect its status. A WW MMC has a 3 MF allotment which cannot be increased for any reason
[EXC: while being carried by any form of conveyance]
conveyance],, its IPC is reduced to 2, and it receives a +1 DRM for all
CC attacks it makes while all CC attacks made against it receive a -1 DRM. Under no circumstances may a WW
MMC become unwounded. A HS created from a WW squad is marked with a Walking Wounded MMC counter
and suffers all the penalties associated with that status. Any SMC created by a WW MMC is not initially
wounded. Two WW HS may Recombine into a WW squad per A1.32. If a non-Wounded ded HS and a WW HS
Recombine, the resulting squad is considered WW and is marked as such.
7. Croat Leaders, Heroes, and Wounded Leaders are retained for the next scenario.

Aftermath: At the end of September 1944 Major Dolanski was transferred to his new assignment. He became
Executive Officer of the 1st Air Force Base in Zagreb. Major Ljudevit Agic became new commander of 1 st
Croatian Light Infantry Parachute Battalion, while his Executive Officer was Captain Ivan Simek. The 3rd and 4th
Parachute Companies were formed by the end of 1944, so that the battalion was now complete and ready for
action. In January 1945 the battalion was engaged in some antianti-partisan
partisan battles around Resnik. They were
engaged in some minor clashes withith the partisans near the towns of Ivanja Reka, Hrusica and Obrovo. Among
others they managed to take the village of Obrovo.
