Maintenance instructions

Machine Type: Electrolyte analyzer.

Cleaning: 3-6 days

How many sample per day and the generally intervals to do the
maintenance accordingly.
Sample 0-10 10-25 20-50 >50
De-protein 3 weeks 2 weeks 1 weeks 5 days
Condition 6 weeks 4 weeks 2 weeks One week

Tips:
1. The De-protein can clean up both the membrane and flow path of the electrodes.

2. The Condition only use for pH Na electrodes. Because the membrane(glass

material) of these electrodes are different from others.

3. When samples more than 50 per day, interval: 5 days for De-protein; one week
for Condition. Since the high quantity tests, it may cause blockage problems.
Kindly note avoiding absorb the blood clot when testing the serum.

4. The De-protein solution can’t be stored. After mix with reactive dilution or
opened, it should be used up.(Same as the condition solutions)

5. When there have no de-protein solution, please using air ball (Medical rubber
suction) to absorb the dirt out or injecting distill water through the electrodes’
path. Do not use the needle or sharp things. Otherwise it will cause damage to
the membrane.

6. Information of consumables(Intervals of Replacement).

Teck tubes: 1 year

Pump tubes: about 1 year
Refill solution of ISE: Three months to Half a year or six months (when the
solution inside consumed and less than 1/2, please refill it)
O-rings: Half a year or six months (Kindly note the O-ring of multiplexer should be
replaced too)
7. Cleaning up the flow path at regular period:

Clean up Teck tube Pump tubes Probe and Probe tie-in.

More than 50 samples per day: three month
Less than 50 samples per day: half a year
For Multiplexer cover: half a year

Generally, injecting distill water by syringe as to clean the flow path. When the
Teck tubes turned to white or yellow. It will cause leaking or blocking problems. I
suggest to use the 84 liquids(Chemistry formula: NaClO) will be better. Pure or
50% is ok. Remember to take off the electrodes, since these kind of liquids will
cause damage to the membrane.

For ISE electrodes, If one electrode failed, please check the defective electrode.
Checking: solution inside; o-rings; contactor; MV and slope values whether under
the normal range or not; if the core of electrodes’ turn to white, you can replace
with new. If more than one electrode failed, please check the Ref
electrode(Crystals can’t touch the core of Ref electrode) or flow path(With out
any leaking blocking problems). Also, please send the Cal data to us accordingly.
