resilient, and only gets better (and softer!) with time. As if that’s not enough, linen is breathable
and moisture-wicking, so it will keep you cool through the warmer months and can be
comfortably layered in the cooler ones. (It also requires almost zero special care, so sign us up.)
We’ve found 13 apparel brands that are using natural linen for dresses with stunning silhouettes,
tapered bottoms, and oversized tops that are as relaxing as they are sustainable. Whether
you’re intrigued for its eco-friendly properties or simply want to invest in long-lasting looks,
you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you make the switch.

Great post! Wanted to comment and mention Power of My People which is a fantastic
Canadian company that I have bought some beautiful linen tops from.

What research have you done to ensure that the Etsy shops are in fact using fair labor
practices? Just because they are on Etsy does not guarantee this. Thank you!

Hi Isa,
Great question! We typically link to specific Etsy shops to ensure sustainable practices,
rather than Etsy as a whole marketplace! The shops we've linked to all use fair trade
labor practices. Hope this clears it up! xx

If it's possible, I think many readers would really appreciate lists like these that feature more
budget friendly brands. It's nice to mention these but I think you should also have lists for
sustainable clothing companies that may be offering most items for $50 and under.

It’s almost impossible to make quality and ethical linen clothing items under that dollar
value. If you ever find “cheap” or “affordable” linen items, it’s most likely coming from
china.
