Self-reflective Report Professional Integration Activities

1. Describe and document* your Professional Integration Activities:

 Project background and motivation, little why’s (short term goals) and Big Why’s (long term goals)
- My professional solo career has been, since the beginning of my journey as a classical guitarist, my priority. Of course, projects such as
chamber music, theoretical/ research subjects or other musical fields are also part of the equation. Nevertheless, I consider that, taking
in account the artistic path I am following, I believe that creating a Website will give many advantages. For starters, when this is
published, people will quick and complete access to all my next projects, such as concerts, masterclasses, but as well will be able to
check and listen to my work on the field of composition and transcription. These are features that, although can be found in some
guitarist’s websites, are not so common in our community. Therefore, I believe this could be an attractive point. As for long term
results, I am confident that, with time and the right care and promotion, this website will give not only more visibility in a world-wide
perspective, as well will bring me many professional opportunities. The fact that anyone that searches for me online can find a
professional and detailed set of my experiences and skills makes my artistic offer more broad. By presenting in a more professional and
serious manner, I believe I can bring the attention of any kind of audience/institution to hire me for future musical events. To add up,
the transcriptions and compositions, that I will hopefully have more chances to play and expose, will start circulating more through the
guitar community (if these happen to have success, of course), since they will be easily found and for sale on the website. This will most
likely also bring considerable profit. And finally, my private lessons offer, which also include improvisation lessons in classical music; as
mentioned before in this PIA project, the improvisation lessons in classical guitar are a feature which is quite rare in our field. Gathering
that lack of offer with the knowledge that I will acquire through time and this master’s research, I believe I could make a great outcome
from this art.
