SCRIPT FOR THE JOB INTERVIEW

INTERVIEWER: Mr. Saclag


INTERVIEWEE: Ms. Sta. Teresa

INTERVIEWER: Good day! Welcome to XYZ Company, I am your interviewer for today. My name
is Victor John Saclag. How about you? Could you please tell me about yourself?

INTERVIEWEE: Good Day! My name is Sunshine Sta. Teresa. I am 26 years old, currently
residing at Padre Garcia, Batangas. As for my skills, I have the qualities to match the job
description, and to perform highly in the role. I am a hardworking, creative thinker and
enthusiastic person who understands how important work is to my overall happiness. Also I love
learning new things and am always on the lookout for new opportunities to develop and grow
within my role. I'm a good communicator with strong analytical skills. If I am successful today, I
can assure you that I will bring a great deal of experience, loyalty and positive qualities to your
team.

INTERVIEWER: What are your strengths and weaknesses?

INTERVIEWEE: I have many positive qualities and attribute to bring to this role, but I believe
my main key strengths are I have a hard working nature, I am always looking for the positives in
every situation, I like to support and help others. About my weaknesses, I do have one weakness
and that is I can have trouble asking for help. Because I am independent and enjoy working
quickly, it has been difficult for me to ask for help when I need it. While I am still working on it,
I have been able to produce more high-quality work as a result of getting help from those around
me.

INTERVIEWER: Why do you want to work here?

INTERVIEWEE: Having studied the person specification and job description for this role, I
feel I have the skills, qualities and attributes to carry out the job to a very high standard. I also
feel the role will give me a new, fresh challenge; something which I have been looking for some
time now. If I am successful, I plan to stay with you for a long time, so it was good to see that
you empty happy, positive people within your team.
INTERVIEWER: What is your biggest accomplishment?
INTERVIEWEE: My greatest accomplishment occurred in my previous role where I helped the
company increase sales. This was achieved by improving customer service standards and by
thinking of different ways to help the business market its product via social media.

INTERVIEWER: How do you handle stress and pressure?


INTERVIEWEE: I actually prefer to work under stress stressful or pressurized conditions
because this is when I am at my best. I handle stress and pressure by focusing on the task in
hand, by remaining calm and by creating lists of what needs to be done and in what order. I also
handle stress and pressure by making sure I keep myself fit and healthy. I eat well and doing
some exercises. By doing these things it enables me to maintain optimum concentration levels
whilst at work.

INTERVIEWER: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?


INTERVIEWEE: I see myself hopefully working for your company either in the same role or
having gained advancement to a higher level. In 5 years, I would have also developed
significantly and be seen as a trusted, reliable and productive member of the company.

INTERVIEWER: Okay, that’s it. Thank you for having an interest to our company. For now,
I’ll end this conversation. An email and text will arrive for at least 2-3 days. Always check your
