Song Analysis. TATSULOK by Buklod/Bamboo
(To be accomplished by those who opted modular only and those who haven’t attended the online class)

What did you feel during the singing of the song “Tatsulok”? What do you think is/are
the message/s of the song to you, to the class, to the school, to government agencies, to
communities? What do you think was the context of the song and what could be its
message to the citizens of today?

I feel sad and upset that the song has interpreted to me how barbaric our World is. This
made me understand how cruel politics was to the people, particularly the innocent. For me,
for the class, for the classroom, for government institutions, for families, the message of the
song is that we need to be conscious of what's going on in the real world and not be fooled
by the government, we need to know how to discern what's wrong and fair and still be on
the right side, to create a stronger and progressive community / world. Tatsulok was a young
man's song, written by the band Buklod. This determines the social hierarchy of our society
in which few belong to the highest. It's actually a revolutionary song toward the country's
triangular social system. The main political and social institutions of the nation are
dominated by those who can afford power. Land, though our farmers are landless, is owned
by the few. If we were to open our eyes, one would know that our country's true enemies are
not from other nations that are much more advanced than ours, but from ourselves. This
song will make us understand that we have the strength to turn the triangle around and give
us the equal justice we deserve.
Activity 3: SURVEY ON THE CURRENT ISSUES ON HUMAN RIGHTS
(To be accomplished by those who opted modular only and those who haven’t attended the online class)

Lowering the age
of criminal
responsibility will
not deter adult
offenders from
abusing children to
commit crimes.
Are you in favor of the Abortion? ✓ it's the mother's
choice to get an
abortion. If they
really can't handle
or take care of the
baby then choose
abortion than
making the child
suffer. It's not
breathing yet so it
doesn't count as
murder and it's a
choice, if it's a
murder then why
is there no people

jail because of the
abortion. And
again it's my
choice. Rather
choose PRO

Are you in favor of the 10k ayuda? ✓

it's what we're
always using in

Are you in favor of the Death Penalty? ✓ I'm not in favor of
death penalty,
because life is

Action
(TO BE ACCOMPLISHED BY ALL STUDENTS)

In seven decades of the proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights,

every country properly observed the implementation of the articles on Human Rights. But in
today’s generation, it is a challenge for youth to uphold their rights. Especially, in this time
of the pandemic, there is an increase of abuses/human rights violation in the country. As
Legazpi Thomasian, who uphold the core values “Justice”, CREATE A MEME that brings
awareness on the importance and to be an advocate of Human Rights. Be specific. Post output
in your Facebook Timeline with #IamLegazpiThomasianHumanRightsAdvocate as caption,
