Instruction of programming in Chemray 120

Examples on how to program items of End point, Fixed time, and Kinetics

1. End point

A. Test time: First 300 seconds are delay time, and Second 300 seconds are end
time. As a result, read time is only 1 second.
B. Reagent blank: It means the valid range of reagent blank. If the reagent blank is
beyond this range, the system will treat the reagent as invalid. The unit is
1/10,000 absorbance. It is not needed in this reagent kit.
C. Sample volume: Range of sample volume is 3-45 ul. It is recommended 4 ul as
minimum volume.
D. Reag.1 should be 180-450 ul.
2. Two point time

A. “Blank type” is recommended as “None”.

B. Test time: first 60 seconds are delay time, and second 150 seconds are end
time. As a result, read time is 90 seconds. In order to ensure the accuracy of test
results, the measure time is recommended to be longer than 90 sec. You can set
end time as 180 or more.
C. Sample volume: Range of sample volume is 3-45 ul. It is recommended 4 ul as
minimum volume.
D. Reag.1 should be 180-450 ul.
3. Kinetics

C. Reagent blank: It means the valid range of reagent blank. If the reagent blank is
beyond this range, the system will treat the reagent as invalid. The unit is
1/10,000 absorbance. For this reagent kit, it requires reagent should have an
absorbance above 1.0. As a result, we can Reagent blank as 10000-20000.
D. If reaction mode is increasing, you can set Factor as plus, e.g. 1746; If reaction
mode is decreasing, you can set Factor as minus, e.g. -1746
E. Sample volume: Range of sample volume is 3-45 ul. It is recommended 4 ul as
minimum volume.
F. Reag.1 should be 180-450 ul.
