*The amount of meat I eat for beef estimated .10 kg. for chicken estimated .55 kg and for
pork estimated .35 kg. for a total amount of 1 kg. during the week

-60-80 %
• Which meat type (chicken, pork, beef, chevon, mutton) is your most favourite?
The least favourite?
-For meat type, my favourite is chicken not only it is affordable but it’s filled
with high quality of proteins and doesn’t contain much fat. My least favourite
is maybe the meat of goat (chevon), I don’t like the taste and smell of the cooked
meat.
• How much amount of meat were you able to consume every day?
-.14 kg. Within a week, the amount of meat I consume is estimated about 1 kg.
divided by 7 days = .14 kg or 140 grams.
• Cite some advantages and disadvantages of eating meat?
Advantages of eating meat are:
-Boosts energy levels.
-Supports a strong immune system.
-Excellent protein source since it contains all amino acids essential for health.
-Reduce appetite and increased metabolism.
-Boosts brain health.
-So, it contains high levels of calcium, vitamin D and omega 3 acid fats for bone
health -with stronger bones.
Disadvantages of eating meat are:
-May increase the risk of certain types of cancer.
- It increases your risk of diabetes.
-Could lead to heart disease and stroke.
-Eating meat makes it harder to maintain a healthy body weight.
-Meat carries the highest risk of foodborne illness.
-It might contribute to erectile dysfunction in men.
-It may make you resistant to antibiotics
-It increases your risk of death

Application
Submit infographics of any meat animal of your choice with detailed information of its
origin, production volume (the Philippines and World), per capita consumption, nutritive value,
benefits, and by-products.
