Politicians of Ormoc City

Mayor

Richard I. Gomez – An actor and mayor that allows the entrepreneur

to invest in the city. By the help of Investor the city more progressive high
rise building for commercial goods, recreation area, malls,gyms and
hospital and trading center, Ormoc city is known in tourist destination
which all generation can fit in. Mayor Richard Gomez open the Ormoc city
trading and tourism sectors that all Ormocanon’s are the first beneficiary of
the progress of the city.

Vice Mayor

Leo Carmelo L. Locsin, Jr. – A sporty vice mayor that promotes

environmental activities to the young ormocanons and to the young
adventurer who wants to explore inside the Ormoc city. By the help of vice
Leo Locsin many tourist destination are being open and introduce to the
traveller who are interested to explore. Vice Leo also help the community
where there are lots of people live jobless; by the help of tourism the
community are starting rising up and have a real job.

Congresswoman

Lucy Marie Torres Gomez –A congresswoman that promotes tourism

to the municipality of Albuera, Palompon, Merida, Matag-ub, Kananga,
and Isabel that the sectors of every municipality plays the role of progress.
Lucy makes every municipality to be known in tourism which it’s a big
help for individuals to have a shove in promoting their place and to gain
income by the help of tourism.

Autobiography

Mayor Richard I. Richard Icasiano Gomez (born April 7, 1966) is an athlete,

Gomez television presenter, veteran actor, director and politician.
He graduated from the University of the Philippines Open
University (Associate in Arts, 2009) and the University of
Perpetual Help System DALTA (Masters in Business
Administration, 2016).He earned a doctorate in public
administration from the Cebu Technological University in
2019.Gomez assumed office as mayor of Ormoc City on June
30, 2016.[3]

Gomez was a leading actor in movies in the early 90s and

won several awards and nominations.

Vice Mayor Leo Carmelo L. Locsin, Jr.

Locsin, who is serving his second term as vice mayor, is the

son of Leo Carmelo and Ma. Victoria, who were once mayor
and representative of Leyte’s fourth district that includes
Ormoc, respectively.

Locsin got a degree in Business Management from the De

La Salle-College of St. Benilde in Manila.
 Torres was born on December 11, 1974, in Ormoc, Leyte,
Philippines, to Manuel "Manoling" Torres, Jr. and Julie
Martínez. Her family owned several hectares of land in the
province.

Torres attended elementary and high school at St. Peter's

College in Ormoc City and earned a degree in business

In 1993, Torres was introduced as the new model for Lux
shampoo together with her now husband, actor Richard
Gomez.
