1. What art form/artwork has changed something in your life? Why? Account for the
experience?
- The movie ‘A Walk to Remember’ by Nicholas Sparks that was played by Shane
West and Mandy Moore. I was 11 years old when I first saw the movie, at first I don’t
understand what the movie is all about but my nephew, who is older than me explain
to me the movie and from the second time and every time I watched it, my tears can’t
help but to fall especially the ending part where they got married. The bible verse
that never left my mind is 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 that Mandy read to Shane in her
sickbed, it changes how I see love in a good honest way. Love is not about being
romantic to opposite sex but love is within us, and we should prosper it and give it in
all honesty, kindness, and selflessness. I always tell to my friends and family how
much I love them not in romantic ways but the love that is written in the bible verse
and the love that it should be as 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it
does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is
not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but
rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always
perseveres.
