1. What were the main purpose of Rizal law?

The Rizal Law is enacted in order to teach students different values that can be
learned from the past. Studying the past and the mistakes done by our ancestors helps
us in making sense of our current circumstances. It also helps us to learn from those
mistakes and make better decisions and actions. Amidst various influences of Western
countries and the Kpop culture, the ideologies written by Rizal can be a way to for young
generation to grasp the essence of being a Filipino. Studying Rizal’s works, his
experiences and ideologies is crucial into understanding today’s context of Philippine
society and comparing on how it was back then. Most of all it aims to influence today’s
generation of our national hero’s love for our country.
