2. Cycle view : The processes in a supply chain are divided into a series of cycle, each performed at the
interface between two successive stages of a supply chain. Cycle view of Supply chain process includes,
Customer order cycle, Replenishment cycle, Manufacturing cycle, Procurement cycle

Push/Pull View : this processes in a supply chain are divided into two categories depending on whether
they are executed in response to a customer order (pull) or in anticipation of a customer order (push)

2.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Internal Supply Chain Management (ISCM)

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)

Integration among the above three macro processes is critical for effective and successful supply chain
management

3. These are three of Supply Chain Decission Phases

Supply chain strategy or design : its about making decisions about the structure of the supply chain and
what processes each stage will perform.

Supply chain planning : Planning decisions is a definition of a set of policies that govern short-term/ long
term or based on demand operations, and we should considering few things such as:

1. Which markets will be supplied from which locations

2. Planned buildup of inventories
3. Subcontracting, backup locations
4. Inventory policies
5. Timing and size of market promotions

• So after that they can do next step. But we should consider in planning decisions demand
uncertainty, exchange rates, competition over the time horizon

Supply chain operation:

• Supply chain operations include the systems, structures and processes to plan and execute the
flow of goods and services from supplier to customer. To maximize effectiveness. It also allocate
orders to inventory or production, set order due dates, generate pick lists at a warehouse,
allocate an order to a particular shipment, set delivery schedules, place replenishment orders.
The objective of a supply chain strategy is to reduce waste and increase efficiency to attain cost benefits,
and to guarantee supply chain flexibility when facing the ever-changing market environment in order to
meet customer requirements.
