Competences: 1. to match the word with image, sticking the correct label;
2. to practice & improve pronounciation;
3. to understand the meaning of the new words;
4. to build up sentences of their own;
5. to ask & answer questions;
6.to raise self confidence in speaking English.
Methods: conversation, work in groups, practicing.
Material: objects, pictures, workpapers.
PROCEDURE

1. Warming-up:
-greeting, casual conversation.
2.Revising the knowledge previously acquired through:
 Songs and poems related to the next topics
-Hello! – Dear teacher
Who are you?
If you are happy…
-Family – Family fingers
-Happy Halloween! –Trick or treat!
Rain, rain
Autumn
- House and rooms–Little mouse
 Handouts and work papers
-group work- sticking labels with rooms in the house on a picture;
-individual work- matching words with objects in the classroom.
3. Introducing the new lesson:
- preparing some materials/objects (elephant,hat) to show the Ss
their place: in, on, under;
- announcing the aim and the objectives of the lesson.
4.Teaching the new lesson:
- asking & answering some simple question about the place of
different objects in the classroom;
 Where is the elephant? It’s in the hat.
Where is the hat? It’s in the schoolbag.
 Where is the elephant? It’s on the chair.
Where is the chair? It’s on the floor.
 Where is the elephant? It’s under the hat.
Where is the hat? It’s under the desk.
- listening the nursery rhyme: The green grass grows all around.
5. Ending the lesson
-teacher evaluates & praises the Ss’ activity;
-Ss are dismissed.
