Section 1:
Background information on SWAT:

The special weapons and tactics concept originated in the late 1960s as a result
of several sniping incidents against civilians and police officers around the
country. Many of these incidents occurred in Los Angeles during and after the
Watts Riot. Upon critical examination of how each incident was managed by
police, the leadership of the LAPD realized that an effective response to these
dangerous situations was virtually non-existent. Officer John Nelson presented
the special weapons and tactics concept to a young inspector by the name of
Darryl F. Gates. Inspector Gates concurred and approved the concept of a small
group of highly disciplined officers utilizing special weapons and tactics to cope
with these unusual and difficult attacks.
Section 2:
Basic Rules :

1. The minimum rank for SWAT is Senior Officer. No exceptions will be made
if your rank is lower than this.
2. You MUST pass one SWAT Training to become a SWAT Member. This
means if you go through the training but fail to meet the standards of an
LSPD SWAT Member, you will not become a member of this elite Group of
gentlemen known as the LSPD SWAT Team.
3. All units in SWAT should know that their gear is located in their trunk. You
will always patrol as a normal unit, if SWAT is needed for a call you shall
respond. 1-2 Miles out from the scene you will pull the car over and suit up
into your SWAT Gear.
4. As SWAT, you are held to an extremely high standard, not only by the
heads of the department, but also your fellow Agents. SWAT was organized
for the best of the best. If you fail to represent LSPD’s SWAT in a
professional and mature manner, you will be punished immediately.
5. You are only allowed to use the authorized SWAT Vehicles. If you are
caught using another vehicle other than a SWAT Vehicle provided you will
be punished.
Section 3:
Procedures:

1.All units in SWAT should know that their gear is located in their trunk. You will
always patrol as a normal unit, if SWAT is needed for a call you shall respond.

2. If responding to a call for SWAT, From a patrol vehicle you and any other SWAT
members will find a point and meet up 1-2 miles away from the scene, You will
then all suit up in your appropriate SWAT attire, And then respond to the scene
together.
3.There must be a minimum of 2 swat officers to activate as SWAT. If you are the
only one that can activate, you cannot activate.
4.There may only be 4 members to a squad. This means if there are 6 SWAT
member on, 2 must break off on a separate squad.
5.. Members caught being unprofessional during scenes while active SWAT will
be immediately terminated from SWAT and Blacklisted from the subdivision.
6. There will be NO breaking RP whatsoever. Unless there is an active admin
sit, there will be no meta gaming and everything you do will be RP based.
This includes RTO.
