Oral Comprehension 1

Sue: Hi, Chad. We’ve got a history test tomorrow. Do you want to come and study at my house?
Chad: No, thanks, Sue. When I study with friends, we always talk. It’s difficult for me to study like that.
Sue: You always get good marks in history and geography. How do you study?
Chad: Well, I read everything twice. Then, I answer questions in my notebook. Oh, and I always listen to music.
Sue: You listen to music?
Chad: Yes. Music helps some people study. I sometimes listen to Andrés Segovia. He plays beautiful guitar music.
Sue: I love Andrés Segovia. But I never listen to music when I study.
Chad: How many hours do you usually study before a test?
Sue: About three hours. I usually start at about eight o’clock in the evening. Then, I make a snack – usually popcorn –
and watch TV. Then, I study again until about half past twelve.
Chad: Oh, I never study very late at night. I usually do sport the day before a test. Then, I go to bed early – at about
10 o’clock. Well, good luck tomorrow, Sue.
Sue: Thanks. Good luck to you, too.
