Module 4

1. As a student, my freedom of expression is the fundamental human right that allows me to open
and express my thoughts, opinions, beliefs, and feelings towards something in any form. It gives
me a window of opportunity to freely speak my mind and ideas, and it is essential even for
society because it allows democracy. Our freedom of expression acts as the best interest of
humanity as it endeavors to develop, and its limitation deprives people of the prospects of
growth.
2. In any means to express my freedom of expression, social media platforms, and the internet is
one way I can express my ideas, opinions, thoughts, and perspectives. Still, we have restrictions.
We must be cautious not to collide opinions with someone and prevent disorder and crime; we
must protect the rights and reputations of others, and most importantly, provide confidentiality
of personal information and sensitive data of others when we are posting something. We also
have the means to exhibit through art, expressing ourselves not only through words but also
through our creativity will help us positively portray self -expression.
3. The interest of vloggers nowadays is to utilize social media platforms as an outlet to seek a way
for them to express themselves and connect with other people. While their content seems fun
and creative, documenting everyday life can be intimidating; they would also feel pressure and
nervousness when people view and criticize their videos. Although it is their right to have self-
expression and freedom of speech, there are still boundaries. They must be cautious about their
actions and what they say in front of their viewers. They must also probe first their actions and
words if it is fitting or proper to say to be able to prevent any misunderstandings, and clash of
viewpoints. As Influencers of the youth today, they are also compelled to inspire others through
their videos.
