In 2-3 statements, why should you be interested in the question about the future of the
Philippines?

- Our country's future depends on its people, most notably the youths of today, the
new generation, and the future youths to come. Our actions and decisions affect the
country and its future; it is our obligation as citizens of the Philippines to conserve
our resources and preserve the rich diversity that we have, this can improve and
prepare the life of the future generations, and the state of our beloved homeland.

2.  In 2-3 statements, give a reason why you need to know the past history of a country
before we can tell its future. 

- History helps us better understand our country's culture and heritage and how today's
society became what it is now. Its importance tells us how we came to evolve as
citizens of the country; we can also learn and avoid the mistakes that our forefathers
committed and failed to solve. Our past serves as the foundation of our life; we need
to paint a detailed picture of our history to portray our country's improved future.
