Terme examination which will be conducted in the month of November— Decémber, 2021. This will be an objective type examination and thé duration of this examination would be 90 minutes. 2. Term-2 examination will be conducted in the month of March-April, 2022. This will bea subjective/odjective type cxamination as pér the condition af the COVID-19 in the country. Accordingly, first, examinations of minor subjects will be conducted. ,, examinations of major subjects will be conducted. Date Sheet of the examinations will be released on 18.10.2021. All examiziations would be conducted in offline: mode. CBSE is offering 114 subjects in Class Xil and ‘75 subjects in Class X., Meaning thereby. CBSE has to conduct the examinations of 4 total 189. subjects. if the examination of all gubjects is conducted, entire duration of the examinations would: be:about 40-45 deya minimurh. Thorefore, to avoid learning loss of students, CBSE has decided that eubjects offered by CBSE will be divided into two parts- ie. major subjects and minor subjects: AS major subjects ate offered by almost all the affiliated schools, hence, exams. of these subjects will be conducted by fixity date sheet as done eariicr. DATE SHEET Date Sheet of examinations of both Class-X and Class-X!I will be issued on 18.10.2021 by the CBSE. DURATION OF EXAMINATIONS a) Examination is of 90 minutes duration, b) Examination will start from 11.30 AM instead of 10.30 AM keeping in ‘view of winter session. ©) Reading time will be 20 minutes instead of 15 minutes for all categories of candidates. POLICY FOR CWSN CANDIDATES All the facilities and exemptions as provided earlier will continue in these examinations also. eDECLARATION OF RESULT a) After conduct of Term-1 Examinations, result in the form of marks scored will be declared. b) No student will be placed in PASS, Compartment and Essential Repeat Category after term-| examinations. ¢) Final result of Class-X and Class-Xll will be declared after Term-2 examinations. PRACTICAL/INTERNAL ASSESSMENT/PROJECT Practical/ Internal Assessment/ Project will be completed in schools before the term-1 examinations are over. Marks allotted will be 50% marks of the total marks allotted and mentioned in the syllabus.
