Promotion for Sales Manager

A: Hi Mr. B and Mrs. C great meeting you thank you for coming here today.

Mr. B: I'm great Sr A.

Mrs. C: me too Sr A.

Sr A: I'm doing great guys, please guys sit down. As you already know, you were the finalists
in the selection phase and one of you will be promoted to sales manager. Well, we start off
for you Mrs. C telling me a little bit about yourself.

Mrs. C: Very well, I have experience in marketing as sales and finance. I love work with
people and I excited to learn more about my area. I completed my college in Finance at Dom
Bosco West in Manaus and I began my career in 2015 as finance analysis.

Sr A: Okay, thank you very much for sharing that. Now, Mr. B, it's your turn now.

Mr. B: So, to start I have experience in marketing as well as sales. Recently, I completed my
college in Marketing at Dom Bosco East in Manaus and I began my career in 2016 as
Marketing analysis.

Sr A: Okay guys, next question. Can you tell me why you are the best candidate for this
position? Please Mr. B.

Mr. B: To start with, I'm very proactive, resilient and committed. I usually take the initiative
before of having been asked, in resilience skills I always return to a state of balance after
suffering some pressure and in commitment I act positively in order to achieve results.

Sr A: Okay, thanks for that. Now, Mrs. C the same question.


Mrs. C: For three reasons, I'm initiative I'm communicative and I am very analytical. I took
the initiative to consolidate the packaging in last job, in communication skills I'm effective in
communicating and delegating tasks to the team and collaborating with different
departments I was able to demonstrate my analytical skills.

Sr A: Finally, the last question. So, as you know this is a new position, in your opinion what's
key to succeeding in this role? Please Mrs. B.

Mr. B: In my opinion the key to succeeding is having strong proactive skills and committed
with work. To be a perfect candidate for a position is to fit the situation.

Sr A: Okay, thank you for that. Now, Mrs. C, it's your turn now.

Mrs. C: In my opinion the key to succeeding is having strong analytical skills and
communicative. To be a perfect candidate for a position is to know what is relevant and
necessary to do.

Sr A: Thank you very much for this it was really helpful for me to get to know about you
better. Well, that's concludes the interview and I will get back to you in a few weeks thank
you guys.

~A few days later

Sr. A: Well, from the results we got, the most qualified for the promotion is Mr. B. these are
the characteristics we need to lead the sales department. He proved to be very confident in
the interview in the interview as well as being very proactive in the selection phase. I'll call
him to talk about his promotion.
