What is the significance of your course to our subject

“Governance, Business Ethics, Risk Management and Internal

Control”?

As accounting student I see the significance of my course to

our subject Governance, Business Ethics, Risk Management

and Internal Control. As a future accountant in some small/big

company it’s really important to understand how governance

works within the company, especially in your workplace, so that

you can contribute to the company in terms of good governance.

Another one, it’s really important for accounting student to know

the ethical and unethical practices in one company. We can’t

deny that accountant may conspire to some individual within the

company to manipulate the inflow and outflow of cash just to

gain some money. So, this subject is very necessary for student

like us, to know early about these bad practices, so we may

avoid it in the future.

So, for me this subject has significant to my course which is

Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. This subject will help me to

prepare for the future profession that I will do, so that I can a

better employee or accountant that company may rely on.
