process of communication. The models provide images of complex interactions
and visual representations. These are useful because it simplifies the basic
communication structure and can help us not only verbally but visually to

your answers in 3-5 sentences.
Ethics is based on well-founded standards of right and wrong which dictate what
people should do, usually with regard to rights, obligations, social benefits,
fairness or particular virtues. Being ethical means acting according to moral
principles or acting with good standards of morality. Ethical communication
today is important because many people lose sight of what is right and what
hurts others. There is also something else to respect and be a respectable human
being.

3. How can one observe ethics in communication? Explain your answers in

One can observe ethics in communication by being truthful and honest meaning
communicating what is known to be true (only 100 percent the facts) to a listener
-with no intent to deceive or present only parts of the truth. Listen actively for it
is necessary for the recipient to pro-actively listen to the speaker. Speak non-
judgmentally. Consider the receiver’s preferred communication channel by
using the most preferred communication channel, whether that be face-to-face,
email, conference call, phone call, messenger app, etc. And avoid a negative tone
by avoiding rudeness, being polite and professional, and have tact.
