“My Analysis on the Kinamayan Landslide incident”.

1: if you are the Incident Commander of that incident, what would you do?

*if I would be a Incident Commander in that incident ang first step na gagawin ku is to
make a work plan together with the bystander the logistic section the operations the
responders and the neighbors of that area, at e check ang time duration of the incident
pra masama sa planu kung anong tamang gagawin so that our responders is safe,
because as far as I know it is 96-foot vertical tunnel and this very dangerous and critical
to my responders if we are engaged the incident area without a Plan.

2:if you are part of the Search and Rescue Team, what would be your
recommendations to your Team Leader.

*f I would be a part of a search and rescue team I would be suggest to our incident
command to close the tunnel its because it woud be unsafe for the responders to
retrieve the bodies through the tunnel its because it is 96-foot vertical, napaka delikado
sa responders pra e retrieve ang ganun ka lalim na tunnel at vertical pa,anytime
pweding ma collapse agad ang lupa, as a respoders pinanghahawakan ku ang salitang
“SAFETY FIRST”.

3:as a future Disaster Manager, what do you think would have been done to prevent
chaos and lapses in the terms of IMT decision making that time.
Incident sometimes inevitable hence, people do something without consulting the
government just like the incident happen at santo tomas miners and its accomplice
didn’t have permits to conduct mining and worst 4 people died because of such
mistakes. Moreover, a continuous patrol on every community is crucial to address the
incident happen in kinamayan hence it’s better to be updated and monitored the
activities of the people to lessen the numbers of incidents.
