1. Describe how new technologies have led to the convergence of traditional and
new media?

- The advancement of technology has led to the convergence of traditional media

and new media. It created a path where everyone can still access information
from articles, books, and journals but in a modernized method. It changes the
transferring and delivery of information in a faster way. From listening to the
news on the radio, reading printed articles and newspapers, swiftly change to an
innovative one. With just one click, you can now easily acquire your needed
information online if you have an internet connection.

2. Explain how media convergence creates new opportunities for interaction?

- The occurrence of media convergence created new opportunities for

interaction. It gives a new set of platforms for us to use in daily communication.
Everyone can connect around the world in a much faster way. Sharing of
information is possible in different options. Live interactions, call-ins during a
program or interview. Q and A sessions live, webinars, etc. These interactive
opportunities have emerged out of convergence and digitization of media.
3. Describe the use of one or two forms of new media to share knowledge and
information on a current issue in society.

- The internet is one of the forms of new media that is widely useful in sharing
knowledge and accessing information on the current issues in society.
Through the use of the internet, we can operate different digital platforms that
were all available online. For example, we can gain updates about this covid-
19 pandemic, be aware of the trending matter in politics, entertainment, etc.
We can also voice out our ideas and opinions with regards to these.

4. Explain how a person could be portrayed in public in the age of media

convergence.

- The progression of data has changed, carrying an upgrade to the overall

media area. Media convergence has brought us all to that path. In this
modernized era, people were more connected online. They are free to voice
out their opinions and ideas about a specific issue with the use of different
platforms. There were lot of social media influencers in the cyber world that
uses these set of platforms to entertain and to share their knowledge with the
online community. Making blogs and video blogs are some of the examples.
