archaeological sites, excavation activities, research and study of these sites utilize satellite imagery on a large
scale. Satellite imaging is used to identify spatial distribution, size, and complexity of archaeological sites.
Satellite imaging offered by NASA and other commercial satellite imagery providing companies is utilized in
the region for the discovery and exploration of archaeological sites in Egypt, Northern Mesopotamia and Latin
