The old Binondo Church had a classic white color and surrounded by kalesa which is the only way of

3. Compare and contrast the old picture of Manila with the recent one.

Today, the church was renovated and as a center for confession of faith of the Filipino-Chinese
community, the Minor Basilica of St. Lorenzo Ruiz is inevitably a part of the rich culture and heritage of
our country, without a doubt making it a tourism hub in itself. Compared to the old picture the church is
now surrounded by Chinese community and surrounded by tall buildings and the noise of public
transportation.
