The ecology element in Abraham and Ismail Picture book showed by the
using of nature element for build an house for people worship to Allah swt.. Abraham got
a message to build a house for people worship to Allah. Then Abraham and Ismail build
the House (Ka’ba) with stone from the nature. We can see that how important the nature
element for Human live and their relation to Allah swt.

B. Discussion
1. Revealing the Character
The way that used in this picture book to revealing the character by action
and speech. Revealing the character by action showed in page 5 and 9.
On the page 5, the character of Abraham and Ismail showed when they raised
the house (Ka’ba) foundation. This case showed that both of Abraham and Ismail are
person who want to work hard for their responsibility. Same with page 9, when Ismail
went to find the last stone for Ka’ba.
Revealing the character by speech showed in page 3, 4 and 6. On the page 3,
by Saying “O Ismail, Allah has given me a work to build a house”, we can see that
Abraham character is a responsible person. He always tried to find the best solution
for every the responsibility.
 The diligent character of Ismail we can see on the page 4. With saying “Of
course I will help you”, showed us that Ismail is someone who obey to Allah and his
Father, Abraham.
2. Typical Character
The picture of this Islamic picture book showed that the typical character is
Human. Beside the main character (Abraham and Ismail) showed just like a shadow
but it is draw clearly like a human generally.
