Online Change Process Manual for prospective APDCL consumers

Assam Power distribution Company Limited (APDCL) has launched Online Change Process solution
through www.apdcl.org

Steps to be followed for Online Change Process Application :

1. Please visit www.apdcl.org and on the APDCL home page please click on 'Online Change
Process' as shown in the below screenshot :

2. In the next screen click on 'Application Form for Online Change Process' as shown in the
below screenshot -

3.In the change request screen, please provide your consumer number .The consumer number is a
mandatory field which is the 12 digit consumer number. And then select the type of change request
which you want to do.There are five types of change request i.e Load Change, Rate Category
Change,Meter Change,Tenancy Change,Phase Change.

For doing Load Change:


Provide the consumer number and select the type change type as Load Change .

Give the Valid From date and provide the new Connected Load and click on Submit Button. And save
the application number generated for further reference.

For doing Rate Category Change :


Provide the consumer number and select the type change type as Rate Category Change .
Give the Valid From date and select the new Rate Category and click on Submit Button. And save the
application number generated for further reference.

For doing Meter Change :


Provide the consumer number and select the type change type as Meter Change.

Give the Valid From date and click on Submit Button. And save the application number generated for
further reference.

For doing Tenancy Change :


Provide the consumer number and select the type change type as Tenancy Change .

Fill all the fields given in the screen and click on submit button.
Then a screen appears showing the move in date and move out date.And then click on submit.

And save the Business Partner number and Business Agreement number generated for further
reference.

For doing Phase Change :


Provide the consumer number and select the type change type as Phase Change.
Give the Valid From date and give the new connected phase i.e 1 for single phase OR 3 for three phase
and then Click on Submit Button. And save the application number generated for further reference.

4.You can pay the charges online. Then please click on the “Pay for Online Change Process” link as
shown below.

In the next screen, you need to put the application number received by you at the time of change
process and click on proceed button. You will be navigated to payment gateway, where you can do the
successful payment and generate the receipt for the same.
5.At any point of time you can check the status of your application by clicking on check status of your
application as shown below.

In the next screen, you need to put the application number received by you during change process in
step 3 and click on proceed button.

After clicking on proceed button,following screen appears -


It shows the current status of the application at sub-division level.

6.You can also regenerate payment receipt at any time. Just by clicking on the following link shown in
the below screenshot.

In the next screen, you need to put the service order number received during change process in step 3
and click on proceed.
After clicking on submit button,the screen shown below appears. Just click on the download button to
download the payment receipt.
