wear, so you can cover your shameful
nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you
can see.

Isaiah 29:9-13
13 The Lord says: "These people come near to me with

their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their


hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up
only of rules taught by men.

are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. 10


Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but
the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the
wicked will understand, but those who are wise will
understand.
Revelation 5:1-3
1 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the

throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed


with seven seals. 2 And I saw a mighty angel
proclaiming in a loud voice, "Who is worthy to break
the seals and open the scroll?“ 3 But no one in heaven
or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or
even look inside it.
John 16:25
25 “Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is

coming when I will no longer use this kind of language


but will tell you plainly about my Father.
Revelation 10:8-11
8 Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke

to me once more: “Go, take the scroll that lies open in


the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and
on the land.”
9 So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the

little scroll. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will


turn your stomach sour, but ‘in your mouth it will be
as sweet as honey.”
Revelation 10:8-11
10 I took the little scroll from the angel’s hand and ate

it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when


I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour. 11 Then I was
told, “You must prophesy again about many peoples,
nations, languages and kings.”
Revelation 22:10
10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the

prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near.


John 9:39-41
39 Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this

world, so that the blind will see and those who see
will become blind.”
40 Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say

this and asked, “What? Are we blind too?”


41 Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be

guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your
guilt remains.
Romans 13:14
14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus

Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the


desires of the flesh.
Revelation 19:13
13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his

name is the Word of God.

(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.)

How can a young man keep his way pure? By living
according to your word.

4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not

soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in


white, for they are worthy. 5 The one who is
victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will
never blot out the name of that person from the book
of life, but will acknowledge that name before my
Father and his angels.
Revelation 7:13-14
13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white

robes—who are they, and where did they come from?”


14 I answered, “Sir, you know.”

And he said, “These are they who have come out of the
great tribulation; they have washed their robes and
made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Revelation 22:14
"Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may
have the right to the tree of life and may go through the
gates into the city.
Revelation 16:15
15 “Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who

stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked


and be shamefully exposed.”
