I. PLOT
Plot – series of events.
A. Exposition (Paragraph Form)
1. CHARACTERS (describe each character based on their

Protagonist:
T’Challa – the Black Panther, King of the African Nation of
Wakanda
Nakia – former lover of T’Challa
Okoye – general of Wakanda
Agent Ross – member of Central Intelligence Agency
Zuri – sister of T’Challa

Antagonist:
N’Jadaka/Killmonger – cousin of T’Challa,
Ulysses Klaue – allied of Killmonger, smugler and gangster
A. Exposition (Paragraph Form)
1. CHARACTERS (describe each character based on their
role on the movie/story)

The Black Panther starts with its main character, T’Challa, the
protagonist of the movie. Nakia is his former lover from other
tribe. They have General Okoye who’s very loyal to Wakanda.
T’Challa has a sister named Zuri, who’s making and designing all
their machines and weapon, as well as the suit of Black Panther…

The antagonist of the movie is Killmonger or N’Jadaka, the cousin


of T’Challa and Ulysses Klaue, a smuggler and gangster who...
A. Exposition (Paragraph Form)
2. SETTING (describe the setting)
It started as it flashback to year 1992, the time when the conflict
started, and turned back to its present day when T’Challa was going to
be crowned as the king of African nation of Wakanda. The location of
the story is the African nation of Wakanda. It was a place in Africa that
is isolated and hidden from other countries. It is also the most
technologically advance country in the world. It is also a country that is
rich in resources like vibranium, the strongest metal in the world.

3. CONFLICT
The conflict of the story started when the brother of the late king
T’Chaka, N’Jobu, was killed by him to save Wakanda and abandoned
N’Jadaka, an orphan. As years go by, T’Challa was turned into a king
due to the death of his father. N’Jadaka or Killmonger went to Wakanda
to seek revenge for his murdered father and dethrone T’Challa.
B. Rising Action (Paragraph Form)
T’Challa is going to be crowned as the new king of
African nation of Wakanda due to the death of his father,
King T’Chaka. Before the event, he rescued Nakia, his
former lover, from being abducted for her to be at the
ceremony.
After the celebration, they got an information in which
Klaue and Killmonger steal the vibranium in a museum in
London to sell it to an American in Seoul, Korea. They
tried to solve the problem but Klaue escaped with the
help of Killmonger. Because of that, T’Challa found out
that he and Killmonger were cousins.
C. Climax (Paragraph Form)

Killmonger or N’Jadaka killed Klaue and went to


Wakanda to dethroned T’Challa from being the
king of Wakanda and took his revenge. They
fought in a ritual and T’Challa was killed by his
cousin. As Killmonger won, he took the throne
and declared as the new king of Wakanda.
D. Falling Action (Paragraph Form)

As the new king of Wakanda, he planned to


dominate the whole world with the use of
vibranium. To stop him, T’Challa went back to him
and fought until the end.
E. Resolution (Paragraph Form)

Killmonger was killed by T’Challa and returned to


be the king of African Nation of Wakanda.
As the king, he opened Wakanda to the world and
shared their most advance technology to help other
countries.
II. GENRE
Black Panther is an American superhero film based
on the Marvel Comics of the same name. Its genre
is Science fiction and action. Different advance
technologies were shown in the movie that it makes
it as a Sci-fi movie. The fights between the
protagonist and antagonist are evidences that it
makes it as an Action movie as well.
III. THEME
(Cite evidences or parts of the movie that show the
theme)

Theme is the substance or message shown in the


movie. As we watch it, different themes were shown.
First is loyalty. The Wakanda people were loyal to
Wakanda. Because of their loyalty, they tend to do things,
good or bad, just for Wakanda. An example of that is the
death of N’Jobu, the father of N’Jadaka or Killmonger
and brother of King T’Chaka. He was killed by his own
brother for his betrayal to his own country. Instead of
doing his duty, he help Klaue from getting vibranium and
sell it.
Another evidence is the loyalty of General
Okoye to the throne. Although she does not
like Killmonger as the new king of Wakanda,
she still stayed with him. Second is Family.
Although there are different tribes in
Wakanda, they treat each other as one family.
They are united and help each other in all
conflicts they had. Third is culture…
IV. POINT OF
VIEW
The one that telling the story in the
first part of the story is the father of
T’Challa, King T’Chaka, as he tell the
story of Wakanda. It was a first person
point of view.
V. SYMBOLISM
Vibranium is the strongest metal in
the world. It symbolizes power that it
can do anything, from power supply,
armor, machine and any form of
technology.
The necklace of T’Challa
symbolizes throne. When he won the
ritual fight, he received the necklace
of a king and declared as the new king
of Wakanda.
The ring of T’Challa was from his
father, T’Chaka. His cousin, N’Jadaka,
also has this ring which he got from
his father as well. The ring symbolizes
royalty.
Another necklace of T’Challa
symbolizes power and black panther.
Whenever he wears this necklace, he
can be able to transform himself as the
Black Panther, a superhero.
The suit of Black Panther symbolizes
power and protection. Whenever he
fights with his enemies, it protects him
and gives him power to surpass them.
The herb symbolizes door. It is a
door to ancentral plain where the
declared king can talk to his ancestors.
It also symbolizes power that restores
the power of black panther.
