1.1) Project Description (Brief Introduction)

Screener is an easy-to-use, server based LAN Screen sharing application for effective
communication. It correctly identifies and works under all operating systems with unlimited
user/students accounts and is the only secure, messenger .The simple interface makes special
training needless.

1.2) Major Features/Requirements/Objectives

Having a detailed information about the teachers and their schedule, this channel will be open
24/7 to the student and the administration from anywhere in the world. The security checks i.e.
the login information makes sure that data is protected and only authorized persons can read
it.

The system uses PHP language for development and online changes are possible for the admin
of University.

The main objectives are given below.

I. Provides better understanding between users and the university.

II. Provides user friendly environment so that user can see data easily and university can
manage their records smoothly.

III. It stores university faculty details and provides the schedule for teachers and students.
IV. To provide services to the university admin block, professors and students
through internet.
V. The university admin can add all record about teachers, subject, rooms, timing’s and
sessions for generating reports.
VI. Admin can insert new record.
VII. Admin can insert/update teacher’s record.

1.3) Scope of the Project/Proposed System

Mail Server with Live Chat is going to be a text communication software, it will be able to
communicate between two computers using point to point communication. .

The limitation of Live Chat is it does not support audio conversations. To overcome this limitation
we are concurrently working on developing better technologies.

Data communication over LAN networks is going to be a most important mode of communication
for the corporates in the very near future. Companies have to rely on external networks which
not only are unreliable but also cost inefficient.

Companies would like to have a communication software wherein they can communicate
instantly within their organization.

The fact that the software uses an internal network setup within the organization makes it very
secure from outside attacks.
