Values Integration:
How does your religion affect your culture? What are the positive
effects of your religion to your culture which help you to become a
better person?
- I think my religion is not that much affects my culture but with
other people like LGBTQ. For example, in the eyes of the church,
only man and a woman are destined to be together/one. On us
(Roman Catholic Religion), only man and a woman are allowed to
go in a wedding. How about other lovers like man to man and
woman to woman? So, that’s how it affects LGBTQ. The positive
effects of my religion to my culture which help me to become a
better person is like having a hope in every loss/darkness. My
religion thought me that I’m not alone. I can always surpass
every problem because I have Him (our Lord). I’ve learned to
become a good person not just with my love ones but also to my
fellow men.
