E.R.Triage

Direction: The following are the cases in the E.R . Perform emergency triage for these
cases.

1. A construction worker after falling from a 2 storey building.

2. A 55 year old unconscious man.
3. A 30 year old woman is unconscious with a BP of
160/70,PR=55,T=36.1*C.Breathing pattern is irregular.
4. A 50 year old complains of facial weakness with drooling.GCS is 14.

1. A construction worker after falling from a 2 storey building.

 He might suffer from spinal cord injury.
2. 55-year-old unconscious man.
 He will be the second since he is unconscious might be suffering from a
cardiac arrest, his Airway, Breathing and Circulation is needed to perform
CPR. His age is a factor too.
3. 30 year old woman is unconscious with a BP of 160/70,PR=55,T=36.1*C.
Breathing pattern is irregular.
 He will be the third since she is unconscious too, his BP is unstable,
bradycardia with irregular breathing pattern.
4. A 50 year old complains of facial weakness with drooling.GCS is 14.
 The patient is suffering from temporary face paralysis, but the patient is GCS
is good it can wait without serious deterioration
