    − The downtime spraying is used to protect the
    bottles against grey film
    − Additional flushing with caustic
    − Reduces amount of grey bottles
    − Only flushes when main drive is stopped

    Function principle
    − After a longer stop of the machine the bottles which are just leaving the lye are covered with a
    grey film. This happens by surface drying of the caustic.
    − If the washer stands still an automatic valve is activated by means of the upgrade. The
    downtime spraying system ensure that the bottles are moistened permanently so that the
    surface drying of the lye on the bottles is a thing of the past.
