Intrapersonal communication is communication with oneself using internal vocalization or reflective


thinking.

Examples

1. a person may use self-talk to calm himself down in a stressful situation


2. A shy person may remind herself to smile during a social event.
3. A person who's having a nocturnal dreaming.

Interpersonal Communications

Interpersonal communication is the process of exchange of information, ideas and feelings between two
or more people through verbal or non-verbal methods.

Examples

1. A nurse talking to his or her patients.


2. A customer who is talking to a customer service agents.
3. A teacher teaching his or her students

Public communication happens when individuals and groups engage in dialogue in the public sphere in
order to deliver a message to a specific audience.

3. Bill board advertisements are a few forms of public communication.

Mass communication is the process of imparting and exchanging information through mass media to
large segments of the population. It is usually understood for relating to various forms of media, as
these technologies are used for the dissemination of information, of which journalism and advertising
are part.
