How to Upgrade a 4100ES

Panel and Related .BIN Files

Follow these steps and click the corresponding movie to view the
procedure for upgrading a 4100ES Panel and its related .BIN files.

1. From the ES Programmer, click “Transfer”, “Network”, and then “Local Panel…”.
File Transfer software opens.
2. Click the “CFIG and all Execs” radio button and then the “Download” button.
3. If necessary, use the “Browse…” button to set the .BIN file path.
4. Verify and, if necessary, select the appropriate “Load” check boxes for the files to be downloaded.
5. Click the “Download” button and the files are downloaded to the Master Controller’s Compact Flash Memory.
The files are then automatically transferred to the appropriate Slave Cards.
6. When the transfer process is complete, click the “Close” button and then “Close” again to exit File Transfer.
