The lugaw was delicious and really good; it was a superb
afternoon snack. The presentation appeared to be quite
appealing as well.

While making Lugaw, I have learned so many things. I have learned


how to boil an almost perfect egg. I have learned that you must be careful
when handling a knife. I have learned how to slice in strips. I have learned
how to cut ingredients into small blocks or dice. I have learned that I should
only use kitchen tools for their intended purpose. I have learned that cooking
lugaw needs a lot of patience because the rice takes some time to get cooked. I
also realized how to use alternatives in cooking; I didn't want to make chicken
broth because I would have to wait, so I used chicken Knorr cubes. I also have
realized that simple-looking recipes have a lot to do; just like the lugaw at first
glance, it may look easy to prepare, but it actually requires a lot of steps to do.
My mom told me that lugaw is a great meal to serve when sick, something I
just realized. That's everything I have learned and realized cooking lugaw
with egg.
