My favorite place is...

I had been to many places in Vietnam like: Hanoi,

Hoa Binh, Phu Quoc, Da Nang, Ha Tinh, Dai Lai... but the
most excited place I have been must be Dai Lai. It’s the
most interesting place that I have ever been to and also
the most expensive, too.
Dai Lai isn’t a famous place to go in holidays until
the Flamingo Group built the Flamingo Dai Lai Resort,
and it is where my family and I stay at Dai Lai. It is a 5
stars resort and it is one of the most beautiful resort in
the world. Although it was built in 2013, it van looks
modern like some resort is built in 2019 because the
Flamingo Group had spent a lot of money for it. And in
2013, the Design Boom magazine had been honored it as
a resort in top 10 world’s most beautiful resort. The
resort have the area of 130 hectares and to explore all
the resort you need to spend at least 3 days.
The resort include villas and hotels. My family
chose the villa and I am very satisfied at that choice. The
price of this 2 is equal but I like the villas more because
its area is bigger and there is more utilities in the villa like
the swing. But the hotels have its own advantages that
make the hotels more expensive: the view. The suite
rooms have the all view of the resort and at the hotels
the service is better than in a villa. But find which is
better to stay in Dai Lai is not very important because
you shouldn’t stay much in your room and as I have
talked, you must spend time to explore the resort
because there are many amazing things that is waited for
you to explore.
The worst thing and also the only bad thing in Dai
Lai is the Dai Lai Lake because they told that there are
ghosts in the lake and anyone who swim in the lake will
die.
And the most amazing thing for me is the virtual
(VR) game park. Although it’s a little expensive (200000
VND/hour), I had many fun with the VR game park and I
found it very interesting. When I went inside the VR
game park I feel like I have travelled to the future with
the amazing technology. And the is a Flamingo Play
World for the kids less than 10 years old with the kids
game like the fish shooting, mini basketball that are all
used with coins.
The next thing I like is the golf course. There are 2
courses, one is the standard with 18 holes and 1 mini
with only 9 holes. I have played the mini one and I feel it
is a little bit interesting, too. And at the golf course you
don’t need to bring golf clubs because the resort will
prepare all the things for you.
At the time I went to Dai Lai, there is an art
exhibition in the forest of the resort and there is a
beautiful bar at the exhibition that called “Container Bar”
that the visitors can also enjoy the premium cocktails and
gaze the paintings of the exhibition. Although the cocktail
is very expensive (about 200000 VND/cup) but many
visitors went there and I am one of the visitors who
when there, too.
And there is an amazing things that I thought only
VinCity Ocean Park has. It is the artificial beach. It is very
beautiful in the dawn and the sunset, like a giant
meteorite fluttering, falling to the surface of the sea. And
the quality of the beach is awesome, too. The feel of the
gravel is very comfortable and the seawater is very clear,
not like other seas in the North of Vietnam.
To eat at Dai Lai, you have many choices of
restaurant because at here there is many restaurant with
all the food from Asia to Europe, and the price are not
very expensive. The biggest and the most popular one is
the Poem Restaurant. It located near the center of the
resort and it is the restaurant that prepare breakfast
buffet for the visitors. At Poem, they decorated the
restaurant in a European style with the sofa, knives and
forks, some wooden chairs and a long wood table.
Because of that, most of the food at Poem is Europe food
and there are only a few Asia food in Poem’s menu.
Although Poem is the biggest, these 4 other restaurants I
think are better than Poem and also more stylist that
Poem. These four are: Charm Palace, Bamboo Wings, The
Beach and Forest. In these four I think the Bamboo Wings
in the most excellent with pure Vietnamese design and
the material that make its famous is bamboo. Through
visitors’ reviews, the food at Bamboo Wings is the most
delicious at Dai Lai. The professionals call it “The pride of
Vietnamese architecture” and it has brought countless
prestigious design awards in the worlds.
Another that I didn’t say is the villa. In each villa in
Dai Lai, there is a big pool and a Europe style swing.
Inside the house it is like a normal villa with a beautiful
living room with a big TV, some sound bars and many
pictures. There is a kitchen with all the kitchen
appliances that you can cook anything if you have
ingredients. And there is a steam room, too. Anyone who
is stressed after finished steaming in this room will be
more comfortable and feel that they are just relax. There
are 3 bedrooms in the villa and all the bedrooms only
have a big bed for 2 adult and a children. All 3 bedrooms
in the villa have a smart TV and some more technology
appliances. And the bathroom is great! Each bathroom
has a ceramic bath that is very big and with this bath I
have stay in a bathroom for forty minutes. As you can
see, the villa in Flamingo Dai Lai resort is amazing and if
there is a villa like this in Hanoi the price of it must be
very expensive.
This is the most interesting trip of me and Dai Lai is
my favourite place. There are many interesting and
amazing things here that I couldn’t do all in 4 days. I hope
that I can go to Dai Lai another time and at this time I will
do all the thing that I haven’t done yet.
