1 INTRODUCTION

To keep the FRONTIER 550/570/590 operating at peak performance, please be sure to

conduct periodical maintenance and inspections described in this guide.

● Maintenance Interval of FRONTIER 550/570/590

The interval of periodical maintenance and inspections varies depending on the number of prints
processed. In this guide, the number of prints processed is divided into the following three categories.
Please determine the interval of periodical maintenance and inspections according to the number of prints
processed at the shop.

Standard: Less than 5,000 sheets/day

Large amount: 5,000 to 10,000 sheets/day
Huge amount: More than 10,000 sheets/day

<Standard conditions>
The estimated number of prints which will be processed: 750,000 sheets/year (About 2,000 sheets x 360
days)
Operating time: 12 hours/day

● Message regarding Periodical Maintenance

On the day when the regular inspection is due, a message appears at the pre-operational check stage. To
keep the printer/processor at peak performance, conduct regular maintenance and inspections as indicated
in the maintenance schedule.

4
2 MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

Conduct regular maintenance and inspections as indicated in the table below. If the number
of sheets processed reaches the value specified in the table below, conduct maintenance
and inspections regardless of the maintenance interval.

discoloration on prints. For these reasons, tap
water needs to be deionized.

2. Daily check of the FRSS10 cartridge

Please check the FRSS10 cartridge every

morning.
Press the CHECK switch at the front of FRSS10
every morning to check whether or not the red
indicator turns to green. If the red indicator Fuji Super Conditioner FSC 100
remains unchanged, it is time to replace the Z2459

FRSS10 cartridge. When replacing the

cartridge, also wash the inside of the tank. If the
indicator does not light, the battery may be
dead. Precautions for battery replacement are
described in the label attached to the back of the
cover.
