Directives for Covid -19 Management

Following measures are required to be taken to contain the spread COVID-19

1. All sports personnel are to be briefed up to grass root level on the


COVID-19 symptoms, mode of transmission, preventive measures,
personal hygiene and stressing that there is no cure for the disease as on
date.
2. Regular practice may suggest to be continue at home.
3. Wear a surgical mask.
4. Used mask should be considered as potentially.
5. Avoid sharing household items e.g. drinking glasses, cups, eating
utensils, towels, bedding, or other items with other staff.
6. Only an assigned family member should be tasked with taking care of
the such person.
7. All non- emergent leaves may forthwith be curtailed to cut down risks of
contracting the virus during travel.
8. If any from personnel test positive for COVID-19, medical protocol
should be followed immediately and he may be informed to this Office.
9. Keeping in view of all sports, personnel’s are to be advised to maintain a
safe distance from persons during interaction, especially with persons
having flu like symptoms.
10.All personnel are to be advised to avoid any unnecessary movement in
public or crowded place including public transportation and to maintain
physical distance.
11.Avoid all types of socialization and social gathering while on leave.
12.Properly brief and sensitize their family members regarding precaution
to be taken.
13.Properly sanitize themselves and their clothings on arrival at quarter
before coming in contact with their relatives.
14.All preventive measures for safety from COVID-19 to be ensured.
15.Any person violating these measures will be liable to be proceeded
against as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster
management Act,2005, besides legal action under Section 188 of the IPC,
and other legal provision as applicable.
