sector. One of many efforts in economic recovery in Indonesia is to elaborate on development
of MSMEs because they have big potential in supporting country's economy. The main
problem currently faced by MSME sector is about financing. With rampant development of
Sharia financial institution sector, it is expected that it can optimally help development of
MSMEs. Because Sharia finance has a system that really helps MSMEs to advance their
business, such as MSMEs can apply for capital without being subject to interest and fines.
This can make it help to get capital financing easily. Based on OJK data shows that public
interest in Sharia finance is very low. The low level of trust and knowledge of Sharia finance
is caused by less Sharia financial literacy index, which is only 16,3%. The purpose of this
paper is to provide innovation in order to improve Sharia financial literacy, especially for
MSMEs by using a social approach through the Augmented Reality-Based Sharia Financial
Literacy System. The method used is descriptive analysis, namely analyzing problems based
on journals, books and other sources and then describing solutions to these problems. AR-
SFLS is present as the right solution and in line with the conditions of new normal era to
