 My father’s birthday
One of the things we always do is, at 00:00 am we enter the room of the birthday person
with a mini cake, a candle and singing the happy birthday song, then we give the gift and
finally we pray. For my dad's birthday we did the same, his birthday was October 14, so at
00:00 a.m. we went into his room and did our first traditional celebration, but this time it
was a little different as we decided to bring his Mom, for our grandmother it was the first
time she experienced it and liked it, she said "it's something special and different, I'm going
to do the same for the other members of the family"

Then my grandmother and my mother made their favorite breakfast, it was fish broth with
rice and arepa. Then he had to go to the office and work alone in the morning. For lunch he
ate another kind of fish, he loves fish. At night my brother and I invited him to a special
dinner where he decided to eat a mountain casserole, it is a typical restaurant meal, it has
beans, rice, avocado, banana, chorizo, pork rinds, ground meat and eggs; this is super big.
Then we walked around the city and enjoyed the view, the stars, the night and everything.
And the most important thing is to share with the people who really love you.
